Loreto Bay, Baja, Mexico

Loreto Bay is in a Canadian/American enclave of newer homes just outside of the quaint Mexican fishing village of Loreto in Southern Baja (Baja California Sur). It was designed to be a pedestrian-friendly, green community with restrictions for cars: parking is only along the main Paseo and with shady walking lanes to the houses. Our neighborhood sits between the colorful Sierra la Giganta mountains and along the shore of the Sea of Cortez (Gulf of California). A recreation mecca, it has a world class golf course that rings the community, several swimming pools, tennis courts, kayak rentals, notable restaurants, margarita and wine bars, sandy beaches and a resort hotel, all in a sunny inviting climate.

Casa Jane’

Our house, Casa Jane’, with Spanish-influenced architecture has a courtyard with fountain and palms, a handsome cupola, a sea-view BBQ terrace covered by a shady pergola, a breezy third story tower, artistic Mexican tile work, charming French doors, two large king-bed bedrooms, a leather sleeper sofa, a well-equipped kitchen, internet, TV with Blue-Ray, etc., etc.

Courtyard

It’s just a short walk along those winding landscaped paths to several restaurants and bars, charming swimming pools and, of course, the beach. With friendly 24-hour security guards and with relaxed neighbors and tourists present, your neighborhood is family safe for strolling at all hours.

Why Our Unique Casa Jane’ May Be Best for Your Vacation.

We have a lot to offer you besides these introductory low rates (this is our first public renting). Our house is uniquely situated in the neighborhood for better privacy, as it is freestanding with no other homes shouldering against it. In addition, you need not climb the tower for the view. You can get a breathtaking 180-degree panorama from the BBQ terrace sofa, enjoying the site of the Sea of Cortez just over the top of a canal and golf course.

Waterfowl love the canal and fish the waters just below your patio. The terrace with a pergola cover is oriented such that it gets the welcome of afternoon shade. Happily, the house is on the easternmost side of Loreto Bay with no houses to obstruct the view. In fact, you can watch the sunrise over Carmen Island from your pillow-top king bed or from the Juliet porch. Also, you can easily walk or bike (we have two for you) to nearby restaurants, to the championship golf course clubhouse or to one of four swimming pools. It’s just a five minute stroll over the links to the beach.

Our active Wi-Fi will keep you connected to the world, if you so choose. Want to have your loyal canine companion stay with you? We do like dogs and are willing to discuss the matter. Upon your arrival to get you started, you will find crackers and cheese, a nice chilled bottle of wine and a gallon of water in the refrigerator.

Our property manager, Laurie, can help you with any questions about the casa during your stay. She is versed on the amenities of the area and can act as an informal concierge. Her office, TCC Property Management, is nearby your casa and you can contact her at laurie@tccloreto.com or call 011 52 1 613 819-0740.
